Function
A lipid-restorative face oil naturally rich in barrier-supportive fatty acids, used to support skin regulation, post-procedure recovery, and long-term stability.
Clinical Rationale
Prickly Pear Seed Oil was developed to address a common pattern observed in clinical practice: skin that appears dry, congested, reactive, or prematurely aging despite the use of multiple corrective products.
In these cases, the issue is rarely a lack of actives. More often, it reflects impaired lipid balance and a disrupted barrier response.
This formulation supports the restoration of essential lipids and the skin’s innate regulatory processes rather than forcing visible change. When the barrier is supported, hydration improves, inflammation settles, and clarity returns gradually and predictably.
Indications
Best suited for:
• Barrier disruption and chronic dehydration
• Post-procedure recovery
• Congestion associated with impaired barrier function
• Periods of environmental, oxidative, or hormonal stress
Not intended for:
• Immediate resurfacing or rapid corrective activity
• Replacement of exfoliating or corrective treatment products
Protocol Placement
Used morning and evening within a barrier-supportive regimen.
Apply following cleansing and treatment steps. May be used alone or layered with moisturizer depending on skin needs.
