Function
A low-pH exfoliating toner designed to support controlled cell turnover, barrier regulation, and long-term skin clarity.
Clinical rationale
The Exfoliating Toner was developed to address a common pattern observed in clinical practice: skin that alternates between congestion and sensitivity due to inconsistent, excessive, or poorly tolerated exfoliation.
In these cases, the issue is rarely a lack of exfoliating activity. More often, it reflects prolonged exposure, stacking of active ingredients, or insufficient recovery between renewal cycles.
This formulation delivers controlled leave-on exfoliation within a low-pH system, allowing desquamation to occur evenly while minimizing unnecessary barrier disruption.
By supporting renewal rather than accelerating it, the formulation is designed to promote long-term skin clarity while helping minimize cumulative barrier stress associated with excessive exfoliation.
Indications
Best suited for:
• Congestion, uneven texture, or surface buildup
• Dullness associated with inconsistent cell turnover
• Skin that does not tolerate aggressive exfoliation
• Protocols requiring controlled exfoliation between professional treatments
Not intended for:
• Compromised or post-procedure skin requiring recovery only
• Concurrent use with multiple exfoliating acids or retinoids without professional guidance
• Those seeking rapid resurfacing or corrective intensity
Protocol placement
Begin by using every other evening and adjust frequency according to your skin's needs or professional guidance. Apply after cleansing and before lipid-supportive formulations.
On evenings the Exfoliating Mask is used, use the mask in place of the Exfoliating Toner rather than in combination.
Daily sunscreen use is recommended while using this product.

Always perform a patch test prior to first use.
After cleansing in the evening, apply to the face, neck, and décolleté using a cotton pad. Begin by using every other evening. During the initial adjustment period, the toner may be rinsed after 2–3 minutes based on individual skin response. As skin adapts, contact time and frequency may be adjusted according to skin's needs. More frequent or prolonged use is not necessarily better.
