THE SCIENCE OF SKIN REGULATION

At LBH, formulation begins with skin physiology—not trends, not ingredient density, and not exaggerated claims.

Our products are developed through clinical observation, dermatological research, and a deep respect for the skin’s regulatory systems. Rather than accelerating change, we design formulations that support consistent renewal, barrier integrity, and long-term stability.

This approach requires restraint. Ingredients are selected—and excluded—based on their impact on function, tolerance, and recovery. The result is care that works with the skin, not against it.

Our proprietary EMH-6™ complex and cold-pressed prickly pear seed oil support microbiome balance by maintaining an optimal pH environment. This helps limit bacterial adhesion while gentle, low-pH exfoliation supports improved clarity, pore appearance, and overall skin refinement.

Our formulations help reduce transepidermal water loss and support healthy desquamation, contributing to barrier comfort and stability. By supporting acid mantle balance, they are associated with improved tolerance to environmental stressors and long-term skin resilience.

EMH-6™ supports gentle exfoliation, while cold-pressed prickly pear seed oil helps maintain barrier balance and skin comfort. Together, they support more uniform skin texture and the appearance of firmness and elasticity.

Prickly pear seed oil supports skin comfort following aesthetic stress by helping maintain a balanced skin environment. Its oxygen-permeable and antimicrobial properties are associated with improved skin resilience.

Prickly pear seed oil is a non-comedogenic ingredient well suited for acne-prone skin. It supports healthy keratinization, helps regulate sebum, and assists in reducing the appearance of congestion, with anti-inflammatory compounds associated with improved skin resilience.
