The philosophy behind LBH.
With more than two decades in clinical aesthetics, I have learned that healthy skin is rarely the result of doing more. It is often the result of understanding what to leave alone.
Throughout my career, I observed a growing disconnect between skin health and the products designed to support it. As routines became more complex, skin often became less resilient.
LBH was created from a different perspective—one grounded in clinical observation, skin function, and restraint. Today, that philosophy continues to guide every decision we make.

For years, the skincare industry has rewarded complexity.
More products.
More steps.
More ingredients.
More correction.
Yet in the treatment room, a different pattern often emerged.
As routines became increasingly complicated, skin frequently became less resilient. Barrier disruption, chronic sensitivity, congestion, and inflammation were often the result of excess rather than absence.
Healthy skin does not always require more intervention.
It often requires more understanding.
At LBH, we believe lasting skin health is built through consistency, compatibility, and respect for the biology of the skin.
SUPPORT FUNCTION FIRST.
Skin is not a problem to solve.
It is a living system designed to regulate, renew, recover, and protect itself.
Our role is not to override those processes. It is to support them.
Every LBH formulation is developed around the principles that matter most to long-term skin health: barrier integrity, controlled renewal, lipid balance, and recovery.
When skin function is supported, resilience improves.
Everything else follows.
RESTRAINT IS NOT LIMITATION.
Every ingredient included in an LBH formulation serves a purpose.
Just as importantly, every ingredient excluded does as well.
We do not formulate around trends, marketing claims, or ingredient counts.
We formulate around compatibility.
The goal is not to create the most complex formula possible.
The goal is to create the most effective one.
Restraint is not the absence of innovation.
It is the discipline to include only what serves the skin.
